I do like the shorts overall, but my first reaction after washing them was, “Oh no, this is going to be annoying.” You definitely can’t just throw them in with the rest of your laundry and forget about it. I tried to be careful, but they still came out a little stiff, which was frustrating. For the price, I really expected them to be easier to take care of. They’re not awful, but they’re definitely not as low-maintenance as I hoped.

I ordered something from birdwell.com as a gift, and it ended up being just okay. The quality seemed totally fine when it arrived, but trying to guess the right size was harder than I expected, and once they opened it, the style didn’t really feel like their thing.
